Come on Spring!

Jeremy and I took Campbell to play outside today since the weather was so nice.

She just loves being outside.

She played on the swings. I know she is getting bigger and bigger because she wanted to swing on the "big girl swing" and not in her baby swing.

She made castles in her sandbox and tried to ride on her Dora tricycle. Wow! This spring and summer is going to be so busy with our new "BIG GIRL" independence she has now at the young age of 2 1/2.

Two weeks behind

(Campbell loves playing dress up! Here is one get-up!)
The last time I posted we were working on potty training. I am happy to announce we or should I say SHE has it. Campbell is 100% potty trained. No accidents at all this week or so. She finally has all the connections made. I think that is just great. Campbell isn't even 2 1/2 yet.
Go Fruit Loop!
Jeremy has been on a golf trip since Tues night. We are glad to know he is on his way home from Myrtle beach right now and is due to arrive around 2 am. Campbell and I have missed you while you were gone but we know you, Poppy, and friends had fun. I am glad that our pipes didn't freeze or any major hiccups happened while you were gone. We all know I have had them in the past when he has been gone on his golf trips. Campbell told everyone she talked to that "Daddy on a golf trip with Poppy". She is thrilled you will be home tomorrow to play. I will be too!
Our house is up for sale. It has been on the market for almost 3 weeks now. We have had 3 showings. We are hoping to get it sold so we can have our family together more with Jeremy's job. If we live in his Henry Co. Sheriff Department job region, they will let him bring a squad car home and take calls from our house. Please keep your fingers crossed this happens soon!

My two good friends both had birthdays this last month. Happy Birthday to both Danielle and Jennifer. Danielle now is joining the 30 yr old group with me. Welcome!

I went to 3 baby showers over the last 3 weekends. Hilary (Clak) Pohl, Stacey (Weller) Bowman, and Stefanie Christianson. It was so nice to see the girls from high school at the showers. Hil and Stac... I can't wait to meet your little ones.

I need to get off here and start dinner. Just wanted to give a post on the happenings here lately. Enjoy the nice weather this week. I do have to say I love the 2 hour weather delays and closings I have been getting this last month. If only Campbell would sleep in.

Talk later~~~

We are in the pantie phase!

Campbell now wears panties. Campbell is 99% potty trained. She is such a big girl! We have it totally licked except she has been holding her BM (or #2 as some say). She wakes up dry and stays dry all day even during outings. We just need to tackle the pooping. Campbell has panties in every character imaginable. She loves picking out which pair she will wear everyday. WE are so proud of her!

Way to Go CAMPBELL Q!!!!!

PJS

I was just looking back through at the blog and noticed Campbell has on the same pjs in two of the blogs. I started thinking of all the clothes this little gal has and how many hundreds of PRINCESS night gowns and various 2 pc long Carter pjs are sitting in the drawer. BUT the ONLY pics I have taken are her in Christmas pjs. The luck!

Lego Land with Daddy!

The finished product!

Tonight daddy is home and Campbell is loving every minute of it. Our family room was turned into our mini Lego land where daddy built multiple castles for Campbell. She loved helping put her own touch on the castles. Once they were built, down she took them for daddy to build another one. Daddy had a tough day today at work with two fatalities in a car wreak. We are always so proud of Jeremy and how hard he works. Sometimes life is too short and Jeremy knows this more than anyone. We are so proud of you Daddy. You are our HERO daily. Besides you make the best princess castles around. WE love you!!

PS. Yes, Christmas pjs are allowed all winter long. They are warm!

Are you serious???

I dropped my keys out of my pocket today at school while unloading students off the school bus this morning. No big deal, huh? Well, my friend/assistant, Christie found them at 3:15 after a day of school buses driving back and forth over the same spot where my keys were dropped. The end product... not pretty. I now have a automatic car start, but no remote that works and a transmitter (the remote to lock and unlock) that only works when you are on top of the vehicle pushing the button over and over. Thank goodness for car insurance.

Vacation Break! Could it really be over?

The holidays are over, which means tomorrow morning so is my vacation break. The two weeks we have off at Christmas time are one of my favorite times of all year. I love that since I am a teacher I have always had this break since I was a child. I got 2 weeks off as a kid, 3 weeks off as a college student, and now has a professional adult I still get 2 weeks off. Why ever have a different job? I loved being home with Campbell and taking in all the different opportunities to be with her, our family, and our friends. I will have a hard time getting up in the morning since Dec. 19th I have been on my own schedule. Poor little Campbell just doesn't want me going back to work. I can already hear her saying "Momma, you stay here, don't go to work.". It is hard to complain about going back to work when I am so lucky to have this time off with my job. Anyway, with that being said, I will go back with a smile and a little bit of a sad heart that Campbell and I will not be eating our breakfast tomorrow morning and taking in an episode of Imagination Movers. But who says I can't start the count down to the weekend!

Another one bites the dust!

I just talked to my mom and she too is sick with a fever. But after checking on her again, she is feeling much better after getting medicine from the local pharmacy. Please family, get well and stay well. Glad you are a tad bit better mom. I hate that you and Jeremy are both sick. Please bring the New Year in with good health. Love you Momma!!

GET WELL you TWO~~

103.3 and rising!

Jeremy had to do a reverse 24 hour shift today (6pm to 6pm). The only problem was he woke up sick and couldn't call off. He was shivering, had an upset belly, sore throat, headache, body aches, and the fever that just kept climbing. We finally gave up with the thermometer at 103.something. I am so sorry you are having to work right now bud. I sure hope you get some well needed rest and aren't up all night with calls. We love you and hope you feel better. Campbell is still talking about "Daddy leave for work and not give me a kiss!".
